Hizen website

Website Privacy Policy

Hizen values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information when you visit our website or contact us about a project.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal and technical information you choose to share or that helps the website work properly.

  • Name, email address, company name, phone number, and project details submitted through forms.
  • IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and website interaction data.

2. How We Use Information

  • Respond to inquiries and provide services.
  • Improve website performance and user experience.
  • Infer a country from the public IP address and show the corresponding country version of the website. A VPN or proxy may therefore show its exit country.
  • Analyze visitor behavior and maintain website security.
  • Communicate relevant updates or information.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Hizen may use essential cookies required for the website to work and optional cookies for analytics, performance monitoring, advertising, or behavioral insights.

The functional hizen_country cookie stores only the last validated country code. When you open the bare domain, the website uses the current public IP country instead of letting an older country cookie override a changed network or VPN.

When the cookie bar appears, you can accept or decline optional cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not keep appearing. You can also disable cookies through your browser settings.

4. Data Protection

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website may integrate or link with third-party platforms. Hosting infrastructure may process the public IP address for country routing. If a separately configured IP geolocation provider is used, that provider receives the public IP for country-level resolution. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Data Sharing

Hizen does not sell personal information. Information may only be shared when required by law, to protect legal rights, or with trusted service providers supporting website operations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or data portability.

8. Children's Privacy

This website is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Policy Updates

Hizen may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Fizzion Draft notice

Fizzion Platform Privacy Notice

Privacy information for the authorised users of our media intelligence platform.

Hi-Zen (Private) Limited Last updated: [DATE]
In this notice

1. About this notice

This notice explains how Hi-Zen (Private) Limited ("Hi-Zen", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with Fizzion, our media intelligence platform provided to business clients.

Fizzion monitors advertising activity — television and radio ad airings, out-of-home placements, and digital and social ad placements. It does not monitor, profile or track individual consumers. The only personal data we handle in connection with the platform is the account information of the authorised users at our client organisations who log in to it.

2. Who we are

Hi-Zen (Private) Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

Contact for privacy matters: az@hizen.org

3. What personal data we collect

Personal data and its purpose
DataPurpose
Name, business email address, job roleTo create and administer platform user accounts
Login and access logs (IP address, timestamps, actions performed)Security, access control, audit and troubleshooting

We receive this information directly from our client organisation when it nominates the users who require access.

4. What we do not collect

  • We do not collect personal data from consumers or members of the public.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, device identifiers or mobile advertising IDs.
  • We do not build audience segments or individual profiles.
  • We do not buy, sell, rent or share personal data with data brokers.

Our monitoring covers brands, creatives and advertising placements — not individuals.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account data: for as long as the user's access is required, and deleted within [30] days of the user being offboarded or the contract ending.
  • Access logs: retained for [12] months, then deleted.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who host and support the platform, under contract and only as needed to run the service. [NAMED HOSTING / INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDERS]

We do not disclose personal data to any other third party, except where required by law.

8. International transfers

The Fizzion platform is operated and supported by our team in Pakistan. Where users are located elsewhere, their account data is accordingly accessed from Pakistan. Transfers are governed by the contract in place with the client organisation, and are limited to the account data described above.

9. How we protect it

  • Access to account data is restricted to authorised Hi-Zen administrators.
  • Each user is issued a unique account; credentials are not shared.
  • Data is encrypted in transit.
  • Access is logged and reviewed.

10. Your rights

Users may request access to their account data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or may object to our processing. Requests should be sent to az@hizen.org and will be acknowledged and actioned within 30 days.

Users may also raise a concern with their own organisation's privacy team, or with the relevant data protection authority.

11. Cookies

The platform uses strictly necessary cookies to keep users signed in and to maintain session security. It does not use advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies.

12. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if our practices change, and will revise the date above.
